“Definitely not. Things have bee-been slow these days.” He paused for a moment, unsure with what to say —— conversing with others, definitely not his strongest suit. “So d-do you —— um —— tra-train often?”
“They have, I guess that’s a good thing though.” Klaire said brushing some of her hair from her face. “Training isn’t really my thing, I feel more comfortable in a library but it has to be done.”
”Because great minds —— that of Einstein or da Vinci’s —— think quickly; at their feet. They go into conversation ready with a remark. You on the other hand —— well you don’t quite meet that standard.”
“Though it’s true I’m not anywhere near as brilliant as Einstein or da Vinci, I can hardly see how you can gage my intelligence from the small conversation we’ve had. How can you be sure that what you’ve assume is correct? Although I suppose from your arrogant manner you clearly assume you’re correct all the time but might I say you hardly have the brains of da Vinci either.”
Fortunately that’s the time we have for it.
Exactly, we have all the time in the world.
“You get one, just watch.”
“I’m sure, I think I need to practice more rather then re-reading the theory.”
“It indeed is, I stopped practising as much in the early 1800’s.”
“Why did you? Stop I mean.”
‘Most likely not. But it would be for you. I’m that good’ He grinned at her
Klaire started laughing “You’re very confident in your abilities.”
