“As am I,” Jess replied cheerfully. “So, what do you like to do in your spare time?” she inquired.
“Me? Oh I spend most of spare time reading, or listening to music. Sometimes practising my Latin, what about yourself?”
“As am I,” Jess replied cheerfully. “So, what do you like to do in your spare time?” she inquired.
“Me? Oh I spend most of spare time reading, or listening to music. Sometimes practising my Latin, what about yourself?”
“Me too! More often than not, everyone I’ve encountered has been really nice.”
“Yeah they are.” Klaire smiled “I’m glad I got to meet them all.”
“Well, thank you! I really like Klaire, too. It’s pretty and suits you.”
“Thanks, that’s very kind of you.”
“Nice! If I ever move into my own house, I’d love to have one again. Until then it’s not a hardship to go without. It’s nice living in a place that can fit so many people.”
“Definitely. It’s nice to live with everyone, I’m going to miss a lot of people when this is over.”
“That’s lovely! The abridged version is a bit more manageable.”
“Glad you like it, though Jessamine is a lovely name.”
“Window seats are the best for that. That’s the one thing I miss about my old room, the window seat,” she said, referring to before she was bitten, living with her parents.
“Definitely. My old room had the same thing.”
“Anytime, dear. I’m Jessamine. You can call me pretty much any variation of that ‘cause it’s kind of a mouthful.”
“It is a bit. I’ll just stick to Jess if that’s okay.”
“As do I! They make me want to lie on the beach with a good book. Or attempt surfing or something.”
“For me I feel like sitting by the window reading a good book with the feel of the sun on my back, but the beach is also a great option.”
“Ah, yes. Well, if there’s absolutely anything I can do to help, just let me know, okay?”
“I will, thank you. I’m Klaire by the way.”
“Oh, that’s totally okay. I’ll just be quiet, then, sorry.”
“It’s fine, don’t worry. It’s just one of those days.”
