“Its not that big of a deal, like I did some busking and jamming with friends in high school and college but that was it. Unless you count singing in the shower,” he said, shrugging to himself modestly.
“Not a big deal? How were you not signed? I shouldn’t even know you, I should just be looking at you on my computer screen, listening to your songs over and over.” Klaire exclaimed “Okay, that sounded creepier than I meant but you know what I mean.”
He carried on singing until the song ended, nodding his head along as Klaire strummed the last few notes. “Yeah …” Matt said after she finished with a small shrug.
“Matt, that was incredible. I didn’t know you could sing like that.” Klaire burst out now the song was finished “Your voice is amazing.”
He grinned as carried on singing happily, it had felt like a while since he’d done so but it felt good.
Moving her head from side to side Klaire got lost in playing her ukulele and listening to Matt’s singing. She found herself disappointed that it was over so quickly as she began playing the last few notes.
Sighing to himself, he listened along waiting for the moment to join before taking a deep breath. “A room with a view and you, with no one to worry us, no one to hurry us to this dream we found,” he started to sing, nodding his head along to the tune.
Klaire smiled to herself when Matt began singing, he had an insanely good voice but she focused on making sure she played the right notes.
