Klaire stared at the extravagant room in awe, and with slight trepidation, it gave the Unseelie court a presence that she hadn’t properly considered before. “This is… intimidating.” She said before frowning slightly “That isn’t what I was going to say.”

“Okay. I think I’m glad I was out of town the last couple of days, is everyone alright?”
“Do you know if I’m doing this right?” Klaire asked pointing the gun at the target, hoping that she had pulled all the right catches properly.
Klaire sighed as she scribbled in her notebook, the recent events of the landscape plus parts of the Institute being burnt down Klaire was feeling worn down. Still writing helped even if it was just fanfiction. Hearing something move her head snapped at the noise, looking towards the source ever since the landscape she had been on edge twitching at anything whenever she was alone.
“Sorry, I just don’t feel like talking today.”
Shopping Spree|| Derreck and Klaire
Klaire jogged excitedly back to her room, it had been a while since her last proper shop and she was looking forward to it. Especially with summer coming up, and it would be a chance to pop in to get a few new books. If Derreck didn’t mind her browsing. Picking up her bag she threw in her phone, keys and purse, although Derreck had offered to pay Klaire would feel mean if she didn’t contribute her own money. It would be unfair to rely completely on the fae.
Sure she had pick up everything Klaire left her room and made her way to the entrance hall to meet Derreck. Noticing he wasn’t there yet, she stood by the window watching the busy city outside while waiting for Derreck to arrive.
“That’s wasn’t meant to happen!” Klaire cried out staring at the library desk. She was practising casting some spells but instead of setting the balled paper alight, she froze it.
“Oh– hey”
Klaire clutched her right ear, she had just got another piercing and it hurt like hell.
Klaire sat on the sofa thinking about her past. Today was just one of those days, where everything just hit her and she couldn’t put a smile on her face so she had found herself an empty room with and let her depression take over.
