“That is also true.” Klaire hadn’t thought of that, and it worried her now that had Caleb had pointed it out. “I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.”
“The gods of my childhood, perhaps I did believe in them for a while but to believe in one solitary god, that was a step too far for me,” Clarissa said with a shake of her head as she lean back into
Klaire nodded smiling slightly “No one ever told me I should believe in God, or any religion really.”
“And thank god for that, even if I never did quite believe in god.”
“Definitely.” Klaire smiled agreeing, she hadn’t been raised in a religious household and even know with her knowledge of the shadow world, she found in difficult to wholly believe in the idea of God.
“Those people need to get something productive to do. Extremely hard to guess especially when their has been no immediate repercussions.”
“Yeah they kinda did.” Klaire conceded with a nod, smiling to herself as she remembered their harmless if time consuming pranks. “Exactly, but somehow I don’t see any repercussions happening for a while.”
they found a book of spells? I’d check the title to see if I’ve read it before, and if I haven’t I would read it and make some notes. If I had already read it I’d probably re-read it.
a stranger asked them for a hug? Um… hug them.
they were invited to join a secret organization? I don’t think I’m cut out for secret organisations, being a warlock is enough for me.
their closest friend suddenly stopped talking to them? I would be very upset but I would probably bury my head in the sand. I suck at dealing with these kind of things.
someone anonymously wrote something mean about them? I like to think I could just ignore but it would definitely circle around my head for a bit.
the upcoming end of the world was announced? I honestly don’t know. Panic?
they did something to disappoint someone in their life? I would be really annoyed with myself and would grovel hoping they would forgive me.
they learned they needed a surgery? I would see if magic could fix the problem, but if not I would book myself in for surgery.
the plumbing in their home stopped working? Get the plumber in, see what the problem is.
someone insulted their best friend? Jump to my friend’s defence.
they were asked to join a scientific experiment? Normally I would jump at the chance to help science progress but now isn’t really the right time.
they found out they or their significant other were expecting a child? That would be very awkward. I would be incredibly shocked and curious as to how that would happen considering I can’t have children.
a stranger gave them flowers? Thank them, but awkwardly ask them why they handing me flowers.
they couldn’t find their keys? I found this spell the other day that would actually make finding my keys really easy.
they discovered a body? Umm.. call the police, but from a phone box so they couldn’t trace it back to me.
